Our substance use services begin with a comprehensive substance use assessment and recommended level of care utilizing the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) standards and Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM-5) criteria. Counselors will discuss with clients the assessment and recommended level of care prior to development of an agreed upon service plan. The level of care determines the kind, amount, and frequency of services.
