I have spent my adult life pursuing a greater understanding of health and healing, both educationally and experientially. I studied Human Physiology and Psychology at the University of Colorado, completing a Bachelor of Arts in both. I also began learning yoga and meditation at that time. The exploration of healing took me outside of the United States for seven years where I got to witness, experience, and learn healing modalities in Asia as well as Central and South America.
I arrived back in the United States in Southern Oregon in 2016 and felt ready to share all that had been shared with me over the years to support others on their own integrated healing journey – looking at themselves as a whole being and helping facilitate the opportunity for healing the body, mind, and spirit.
I have taught yoga for 12 years, worked as a birth doula, facilitated women’s circles, and currently work as a Life Skills Coach with youth struggling with mental/behavioral health challenges in Jackson County. I have completed the 3-year training in Somatic Experiencing, an integrative trauma healing modality, and am in my final year of a Masters Program in Integral Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
I believe in the wisdom of the body and the potential for healing that exists for everyone when supported in their return to a sense of wholeness. I’m grateful for this opportunity to learn from the team and Kolpia and to be in a position to walk beside others on their healing journey.
