I have a deep appreciation for the human experience and trust that we all have the ability to find and know our truth. We hold our own healing and answers deep within ourselves. My role is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where I stay connected and present with individuals in this discovery process. I feel privileged to be part of the team at Kolpia Counseling whose values align with mine where we honor each individual as an autonomous being worthy of compassion and respect.
My education and training include a Master of Arts degree in Professional Mental Health and Addictions Counseling from Lewis & Clark College and M.E.T.A. (mindfulness experiential therapy approaches) training including Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy and Attachment Therapy. I use an eclectic and integrative approach unique to each individual which includes Client-Centered, Attachment theory, Gestalt therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Hakomi.
